Kari Samantha, born in 1967 is an American actor, performer and singer (born on April 28, 1967). Her career began when she was a teenager. She is known for her roles as Maggie Beckett in the television series Sliders and as the Sheriff Samantha Parker in the horror comedy film Eight Legged Freaks.Wuhrer was born in Brookfield, Connecticut, the daughter of Karin (nee Noble), an accountant for payroll, as well as German American Andrew Wuhrer, who was a police officer as well as a car salesman. She has three siblings. The singer began performing in club nights as a teenager. She would sneak out of her house to sing. She also attended drama classes at Columbia University, Marymount Manhattan College, Marymount Manhattan College College, plus the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in which she was taught by a professor renowned for her work as Uta. Kari stepped into acting as an teen, and her first break on television was 1987's MTV's Remote Control.
