A native of Morocco, Sofia Pernas moved to California at the age of 5 old and grew up in Orange County. Us Weekly announced in May 20 that Pernas had a relationship with Justin Hartley who was her character in The Young and the Restless. This romance began in May 2020 after Pernas split up with her wife Chrishell Stause. In May 2021, news broke that Pernas Hartley had recently married in private.
