Harry

Harry Edward Styles is an English singer, songwriter, and musician. He is a member of One Direction. Parents are Des Styles and Anne Cox. He was born on the 1st February 1994, in Holmes Chapel, Cheshire. Harry Styles attended the Holmes Chapel Comprehensive school where, with three other students, formed his own group of musicians, called White Eskimo. They took home the Battle of Bands in 2009 due to their impressive shows. He has always been keen on music, in spite of the fact that he had a passion for it, he was contemplating becoming a lawyer or the profession of physiotherapist. He worked in a local bakery part-time to help the family with financial issues. In the year 2010, Harry Styles presented audition for The X Factor where he did the track Is not She Lovely by Stevie Wonder and was selected. For that reason his band was forced to break up. After the audition in The X Factor the jury Nicole Scherzinger suggested that Harry Styles join the band to be called One Direction along with Liam Payne Zayn Malik Niall Horan and Louis Tomlinson. Simon Cowell sponsored the young group in 2010. During the competition the band performed songs like My Life Would Suck Without You by Kelly Clarkson and Total Eclipse of the Heart by Bonnie Tyler so the group was one of the contenders to win the competition. They were in third position in the competition, behind Rebecca Ferguson and Matt Cardle and won. Harry Styles' group didn't place, however Cowell still paid 2 million pounds One Direction for them to conclude a partnership with Syco.
