LeBron Raymone James Sr. (born December 30 1984) was an American professional basketball player who plays for the Los Angeles Lakers of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He is known as King James he is widely thought to be one of the best basketball players ever and has often been compared with Michael Jordan in debates over the greatest basketball player ever. James is the winner of four NBA Championships and four NBA MVP Awards and the four NBA Finals MVP Awards and three All-Star MVP Awards. He is also the proud owner of the distinction of having two Olympic gold medals. James has scored the second highest number of career goals, and the seventh in assists. James has been chosen as an NBA All Star 18 times. James is a member of 18 NBA All-Stars, 18 All NBA Teams and Five NBA All-Defensive First Team selections. James was the third player to compete in NBA Finals. Eight of those were consecutive from the year 2011 until 2018. James was chosen to be part of the NBA's 75th Anniversary Team for 2021. He became the NBA's first player with 10,000 points, rebound and assist in 2022. James played basketball in St. Vincent St. Mary High School, which is located in his home town of Akron Ohio and was heavily advertised by national media for his potential as an NBA star. He was a pre-profession player and picked by the Cleveland Cavaliers with the first overall pick in 2003's NBA draft. In 2004, he received the title of NBA Rookie. He quickly was one of the league's best athletes, winning the NBA MVP title in both 2009 and 2010. James signed for the Miami Heat in 2010 when James became a Free Agent following his inability to win the title with Cleveland. The news was broadcast on The Decision.
