Anya Taylor-Joy

Allya Taylor Joy was born April 16 1996, in Miami Florida. Dennis Alan Taylor was a former banker. Jennifer Marina Joy worked as a Psychotherapist. Her father is an Argentine with Scottish and English descendance. Her mother is Spanish-English. Taylor-Joy, who is youngest of five children. Four come from her father's previous marriage. The family was in Buenos Aires up until Taylor-Joy reached the age of six, after which they moved to the Victoria district of London. Taylor-Joy stated that the move had been difficult and that she was unable to study English in the hope of go back to Argentina. Hill House, a school located in the same area as Northlands was required to take her. Then she enrolled in Queen's Gate School, where she took dance classes and appeared in shows. In her 16th year she left school to pursue a profession acting full-time. Taylor-Joy was always aware of her desire to work as an actor. She was given a chance by Sarah Doukas founder of Storm Management she offered her the opportunity to model.
